In the historic Veneto region of Northern Italy lies the city of Padova, famed for its artists, craftsmen and scientists. Its here, in 1954, that artisan Silvio Billato set up his workshop. His vision – to produce racing frames for the elite of the Italian bike racing scene.
Since then, his vision has been realised and the company has become one of the worlds leading suppliers of race-quality frames. Some of the greatest names in the history of the sport have been carried to victory on a Billato built frame, to win Classics, Tours, National, World and Olympic titles.
The story continues today, with the traditional skills handed down by Silvio to sons Roberto, Silvano and Stefano enhanced with cutting edge technology and design to produce frames of the highest quality and distinction; - frames fit for champions.
The Monti Lite is a master piece of hand made Italian craftmanship. Made from Dedacciai 7003 Max aluminium tubing, Replaceble steel inserts on rear drop outs. All Decals and graphics Stencil painted. Integrated 1 1/8'' headtube. Comes with full carbon fork. Frames can also be ordered made to measure.
