- WH7850 CL carbon laminate wheel, designed to meet pro road race criteria
- Clincher rim maintains high braking performance with standard brake pads
- Low rim weight is achieved by reducing the alloy wall thickness from 1.3 mm down to 0.7 mm, then a patent pending phosphoric acid anodizing process is used to bond the carbon fibre to the alloy giving an excellent combination of low weight, strength and rigidity
- Carbon reinforced spoke eyelets increase durability under high loads
- 20 rear stainless steel butted and bladed straight pull spokes with a 2x lacing pattern improve lateral and torsional rigidity
- 16 front stainless steel butted and bladed straight pull spokes
- Elbow-less spokes make for a strong yet compliant wheel
- High lateral rigidity is produced with a 3 mm offset asymmetric rim and wide flange spacing
- Improved Freehub with quick pawl engagement (125% faster than previous Dura-Ace) for instant power transfer
- Labyrinth double-contact sealing effectively shuts out water, mud and dirt without affecting rotational smoothness
- Borozon treated bearing races - super mirror finish reduces friction
- Cold forged, machined aluminium hub shell and oversized 7075 alloy axle combined with a titanium freewheel body keep the wheel weight to a minimum
- 8,9 and 10-speed compatible rear wheel
- Supplied with Q/R skewer
