Vuelta wheels from Italy have just helped Ondrej Sosenka break the World Hour Record clocking 49.7kph

The Carbon Pro is offered as either a clincher rim or tubular with 12 spokes at the front and 16 at the rear. The spokes are made by Alpina and are CNC machined for extream reactivity and lightweight. The spokes are black, radial at the front and double crossed at the rear.

The rims are made of 50mm monocoque carbon for the tubular model. The clincher model also offers 50mm carnon rim depth but then has an alloy tyre bed inserted to create a silver rim between the tyre and the carbon as shown. Images of the tubular model are availible upon request.

The hubs are forged alloy with 2 sealed bearings front and 5 at the rear.

The front wheel weight is 750g and the rear 980g on the clincher model. For the tubular model the front wheel is just 616g and the rear 780g. This means you can ride the clincher pair at 1730g or the tubulars at just 1396g! Please note we only ship wheels to the UK!
